$1,000 provides two monthly community social development outings for our groups!
$500 funds annual participation and peer support for consumers!
$250 provides facilitator training for our essential Family-to-Family service.

We have a Zeffy button at the bottom of each web page. You can make a one-time or recurring donation for our general fund, or to support education, support groups, Spanish services, or our annual BeActive event.
Zeffy is a fundraising platform that has zero fees for nonprofits. Donors have the option to make an additional contribution to help Zeffy keep the platform free for nonprofits!
Publicly Traded Securities:
Gifts of publicly traded securities, including stocks, mutual funds, municipal and corporate bonds, and treasury bills and notes, which are traded on the New York or American Stock Exchange shall be accepted by NAMI Will-Grundy. Gifts of appreciated securities may provide you with tax benefits. Please discuss you tax situation with your financial advisor, accountant, or attorney.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA: If you are 70 1/2 or older, a charitable gift can be transferred directly from your IRA to NAMI Will-Grundy. The distribution will not be taxed and will qualify towards your required minimum distribution (RMD). Real Property:
Gifts of real estate may include developed and undeveloped residential and commercial property in Will and Grundy Counties will be accepted, unless NAMI Will-Grundy shall determine that the property is not suitable for acceptance as a gift. Unless the property is to be kept for programmatic use, NAMI Will-Grundy will attempt to sell at a reasonable price reflected by the current market value.
Tangible Personal Property:
Gifts of jewelry, artwork, collections and other personal property may be accepted by NAMI Will-Grundy. Gifts of personal property shall not be accepted without first being appraised by a 3rd party chosen by NAMI Will-Grundy.
Life Insurance:
NAMI Will-Grundy will generally accept life insurance, but it must be named as both beneficiary and irrevocable owner of an insurance policy before a life insurance policy can be recorded as a gift.
Workplace Giving
Automatic Payroll Deductions: If your employer engages in workplace giving and has an automatic payroll deduction program, you may be able to designate your payroll-deducted donations directly to NAMI Will-Grundy. Please check with your employer to see if NAMI Will-Grundy is included on your company’s list of eligible nonprofits.
Employee Matching Gifts: Employee Matching Gift programs are workplace giving programs where companies may double or triple donations made by employees to nonprofit organizations. Check with your employer to see if they will consider matching your gift to NAMI Will-Grundy.
Annual Giving Campaigns: While many companies recognize that employee engagement is impacted by an ongoing, year-round giving strategy, there are many companies who prefer to give one sizable contribution on a seasonal annual giving campaign. Please check with your employer to see if they would consider a donation to NAMI Will-Grundy’s annual giving campaign.
In-Kind Gifts
In lieu of monetary donations, NAMI Will-Grundy may also accept donated in-kind gifts of either goods or services. Please call NAMI Will-Grundy’s office to inquire about donating particular in-kind goods or services.
