Cheryl Smith

Cheryl has been active member of NAMI Will-Grundy since 2014. She jumped right in and got involved with NAMI as a Family Support Group Facilitator at Bolingbrook Advocate Hospital. Cheryl also serves as a Family-to-Family Facilitator and does outreach engagements at schools, churches, and community venues. Recently, Cheryl was nominated to serve as the Bolingbrook / Northern Will County Representative on the NAMI board. She is an active member in her local church and a recent retiree from the Internal Revenue Service after 35 years.  Cheryl is all about advocating for her loved ones and others who are in need of information to help them care for their loved ones. As it has been said, “ You can't know what no one has told you.” Cheryl’s mission is to help educate others so they are in the know. (2021)
